# Understanding Express Email Newsletters
## Express enables you to rapidly distribute content in your account and content from your Local Connections™
Available for the Build, Grow & Coordinate plans on the Locable Marketing Platform
[Express Email Newsletters](https://www.locable.com/express-email-newsletters) is designed to make sending emails quick, usually in around 5 minutes, with zero design and nearly zero writing.
With Express, you start by creating a brief campaign name to stay organized, add a subject line to get people to open the email, and add some teaser content to drive clicks. You're not writing the email here, you're merely teasing it.
The magic happens when you choose the content to include. You can limit it to your own content, or pull in content from your local connections. You can add an upcoming event, or feature an event. The preview of your email shows your logo, your intro, your featured content, and some other happenings.

Before you can start sending Express Email Newsletters, there are a couple of things you must do in your account.
1. You will need to [set up your domain to send emails.](https://help.locable.com/how-to-configure-express-email-newsletters-setting-up-your-domain-for-outgoing-branded-emails?hsLang=en)
2. You will need to define and customize your [Newsletter Settings.](https://help.locable.com/how-to-configure-your-locable-account-for-express-email-newsletters?hsLang=en)
3. You'll also want to [set up Contact Lists](https://help.locable.com/how-to-organize-contacts-for-use-with-express-email-newsletters?hsLang=en) and [add Subscribers](https://help.locable.com/how-to-add-subscribers-to-your-crm-for-use-with-express-email-newsletters?hsLang=en) so you can start sending them your newsletters.
