How to Add & Manage Users in your Locable Account

Learn how to add users, assign roles, control access, and manage invitations in your Locable account.

Available for all plans on the Locable Marketing Platform

 

Locable allows you to add as many users as needed to help manage your account. There are no limits, so you can give the right people access without sharing login credentials.

Managing Users

To view and manage users:

  • Click the Account Menu in the upper right corner
  • Select Manage Users

 

Here, you’ll see a list of all users along with their roles and permissions.

 

IMPORTANT: A “G” icon next to a user indicates the person who connected your  Google Business Profile. Only this user can disconnect it. If they leave your organization and are removed as a user, you will lose that connection and will need to relink your account.

 

Adding a User

To invite a new user:

  • Go to Manage Users
  • Click Add a New User

 

Here you need to enter the user’s details:

 

Choosing a Role

Select the role based on what the user needs to do:

  • Owner
    Full access to everything, including adding and removing users.
    Use for account owners or leadership.
  • Manager
    Can manage content, events, and marketing, but cannot manage users.
    Best for staff or partners helping run your site.
  • Form Notification Recipient
    Only receives form submission notifications for assigned forms.
    No access to other areas of the account.

NOTE: If someone should not manage users, do not assign them as an Owner.

Website Access

You can control whether a user can edit your website:

  • Owners always have full access
  • Managers can be given or restricted from website editing


What the User Will Receive

Once a new user is invited, they will receive an email that includes:

  • A notification that they’ve been added to your account
  • A link to create their password
  • Instructions to log in

If they don’t see the email, have them check spam or search for “Locable” in their inbox.

Invitation Not Received?

No problem. If the user didn’t get the invite:

  • Click Reinvite on the Manage Users page
  • Ask them to check spam or promotions folders
  • Have them search for “Locable” in their inbox
  • Use Forgot your password? on the login page to resend access

 

 

 

Important: Use Unique Logins

For security, reliability, and proper notification delivery, each user must have their own login.

Sharing login credentials is not allowed.
There is no cost to add users, so each person should have their own account.
