Available for the Build, Grow and Coordinate plans on the Locable Marketing Platform   Embeddable Resources are flexible ways to display curated content and places together on your website. They allow you to organize and present information such as events, blog posts, offers, job postings, volunteer opportunities, businesses, and points of interest in purpose-built formats. Each Embeddable Resource serves a specific purpose, helping you organize and display information on your website or share it across other websites. - **Event Calendars** display upcoming events, making it easy for visitors to discover what's happening in your community. - **Local Business Directories** showcase businesses, organizations, and places, helping visitors explore local resources. - **Sponsor Embeds** highlight and recognize businesses or organizations that support your work. - **Job and Volunteer Boards** display available employment and volunteer opportunities from participating organizations. - **Offer Boards** showcase special offers, promotions, and deals from local businesses. - **Content Feeds** display collections of blog posts, news, announcements, and other published content. - **Tours** organize businesses, attractions, landmarks, and Points of Interest into interactive experiences that encourage exploration. - **Guides** bring together places, businesses, and related content into curated collections that help visitors discover local resources. **(Coming Soon)** - **Itineraries** organize places, activities, and experiences into suggested plans for visitors to follow. **(Coming Soon)** These Resources are designed to work together, making it easy to display related information throughout your website. Because they are connected to the information managed in your Locable account, you can update your content without manually updating each page where it appears. Embeddable Resources can be added to: - **Websites Powered by Locable:** Add Resources directly to your pages using the built-in page editor. - **Websites Not Powered by Locable:** Use an embed code to display Resources on an external website. ### Adding Embeddable Resources to a Website Powered by Locable Locable's website builder uses different types of content sections to organize and display information, including [Hero](https://help.locable.com/understanding-hero-content-block-setting-options?hsLang=en), [Content Blocks](https://help.locable.com/understanding-content-blocks?hsLang=en), [Columns](https://help.locable.com/understanding-columns?hsLang=en), [Simple Text blocks](https://help.locable.com/understanding-simple-text-blocks?hsLang=en), and Embeds. Embeddable Resources are added using the **Embeds** option in the page editor. Once installed, they display content from the selected Resource in your Locable account. [![](https://help.locable.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/downloads.intercomcdn.comio6775932406921c9a427477f822b205150image-Oct-06-2023-07-39-45-1344-PM.png)](https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/677593240/6921c9a427477f822b205150/image.png)   #### Step 2: Choose the Resource Type From the Embeds menu, select the type of Resource you want to display, such as an Event Calendar, Local Business Directory, Content Feed, or another available option. ![](https://help.locable.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-09-2026-08-57-59-6217-PM.png?width=576&height=663&name=image-png-Oct-09-2026-08-57-59-6217-PM.png) **NOTE:** The Embeddable Resource options available in this menu will vary depending on your Locable account plan and the features included in your subscription. #### Step 3: Select the Specific Resource After choosing a Resource type, you'll see the available Resources of that type in your Locable account. For example: - If you have multiple directories set up, select which directory should display on this page. - If you have multiple forms created, select the specific form you want embedded. After making changes, click **Save Changes** to update your webpage.   ### Installing Embeddable Resources on a Non-Locable Website Embeddable Resources can also be displayed on websites that are not Powered by Locable using an embed code. To find the embed code: 1. Navigate to the **Embeddable Resources** where your Resource is managed, such as your Event Calendar, Local Business Directory, or Content Feed. 2. Refer to your website provider's instructions for adding custom HTML or embed code.     ### Keeping Your Resources Updated Once an Embeddable Resource is installed, you don't need to reinstall it each time you update its content. Changes made to the underlying Resource in your Locable account are reflected wherever that Resource is embedded, helping you keep information consistent across multiple pages or websites. You can also use the same Resource in multiple locations or create different versions to highlight specific information for different audiences.
