Understanding the Event Calendar Spam Filter
Available on the Locable Publishing Platform
User-generated content is an important piece of the community calendar and directory and because of our process, we've never had much of a problem with spam.
That said, spammers are getting smarter so to combat any potential risks we've introduced a new spam filter starting with events. This system uses machine learning and a powerful 3rd party partner system so it learns over time.If you happen to have events that don't appear they have likely been marked as spam and you can Mark as Safe in the admin on the events page.
