Managing your members and recurring billing in Locable is designed to streamline the process for you and your members. As such, Stripe provides a great merchant processor service with some terrific benefits.
Locable generates invoices in Stripe which is both secure and affordable (we don't take any surcharge on transactions) and Stripe gives you plenty of flexibility in sending reminders for unpaid invoices or situations where the credit card has failed to process.
Setting Up Stripe Reminder Emails
Reminders can be set up when you initially create your Stripe account and link it with Locable or adjust it at any time after the fact.
There are many customizations available in your account though for renewals you want to enable Customer emails in the Advanced invoicing features section at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/billing/invoice when you're logged in.
We recommend you add the maximum of 3 email reminders in Stripe, they will only send if there is still an outstanding balance when the time comes.
Members with a card on file will charge automatically while those without a card the processes will be added to the reminder schedule.
