Easily duplicate past events to save time and maintain consistency

Sometimes, events repeat but aren’t quite identical each time—maybe they occur on different days with different start times, or perhaps key details like performers, pricing, or venue setup vary slightly from one date to the next.
Rather than re-creating each event from scratch, the Clone feature lets you quickly duplicate an existing event. This is a huge time-saver and helps ensure consistency in formatting and content. Once cloned, you can simply update the date, time, or other details specific to that instance, then publish the new version.
Cloning is especially useful when:

You’re posting recurring events with different times each day

You’re reusing a proven event format (like a monthly art walk or seasonal workshop)

You want to retain styling, images, and layout while adjusting key details
Cloning an Event
Go to Events > Manage Events and locate the event you'd like to duplicate. You can use the search option or browse your list of published or draft events.
Then click the Copy Event icon in the toolbar for that event:
This will create a new draft of the event with all of the same details—title, description, location, images, etc.
Update the Event Details
Edit the date and time to reflect the new occurrence. You can also update any other information that may have changed, such as the title, description, performers, pricing, or special notes.
Once all updates are complete, click Publish Post and Share to post the new event.
