A step-by-step guide to claiming your free Locable Business Profile account.

Claiming your free Locable Business Profile account is the first step to connecting with your community and making your local marketing easier and more effective.
This quick process ensures your business is ready to take advantage of Locable’s powerful tools for collaboration, cross-promotion, and simplified marketing activities. Follow the steps below to get started!
Step 1: Access Your Invitation
To begin, click the link in the invitation email you received from your community organization. This link will take you to the signup page, where you can create your login credentials by entering your name and email address, and setting a secure password.
Step 2: Confirm Your Email
After submitting your details, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Be sure to open it and click the confirmation link to verify your account. This step must be completed before you can proceed.
Step 3: Complete Your Business Details
Once your email is confirmed, you will log into Locable and you’ll be directed to a page where you can input your business details.
Fill in your business name, address, and any other requested information to ensure your profile is accurate and ready for use.
Step 4: Select Your Business Profile
After submitting your business details, you’ll be prompted to choose the matching business profile from our database, if one already exists.
Simply select your business by clicking This is My Business to proceed. It's important to select the existing profile if a match is found so your account will be properly linked to your Community Organization. Scroll down to click to create a new profile if no match is found.
NOTE: If you select an existing profile, your request will require approval.
From here you can click 'Go to Dashboard' to access your account. While waiting for approval, your business profile will indicate 'pending approval'. Once approved, you’ll have full access to your account.
Click on the business to open the account.
NOTE: If you claimed an existing profile, you won't be able to edit the business details at this point, but once you complete your account setup you can update the Business Profile details if any edits are needed in basic details like company name, address, phone number, etc.
Step 5: Answer a Few Questions
To complete your account setup and help us provide you with the best guidance, you’ll be prompted to answer a few quick questions. These will help us tailor the Locable tools to match your objectives and highlight features that align with the things you’re most interested in.
Step 6: Access Your Locable Dashboard
Once the setup is complete, you’ll be taken to your Locable Dashboard. Here, you can begin updating your Business Profile details and exploring the free Locable tools available to you.
The recommended activities on your dashboard will be specifically tailored to the choices you made during account setup.
