RSS feeds are a simple way to automatically share your website’s content with other tools and platforms. You can use them to:

  • Automate email newsletters with services like Mailchimp.

  • Distribute content more widely by sharing feeds with partners, news readers, or other websites.

  • Organize and curate articles into categories or tags that each generate their own feeds.

How Feeds Work

Every article category (and tag) on your site automatically generates two feed formats: RSS and ATOM. These feeds update in real time whenever new content is published.

While RSS readers are less common today, many marketing and automation tools still rely on RSS/ATOM to pull in fresh content.

Category & Tag Feeds

You can find the feed for any category or tag by visiting that page on your website. For example, if you have a 'Health+Wellness' category, the category page will include an RSS/ATOM feed link.

This makes it easy to:

  • Create curated topic-specific newsletters.

  • Share only certain types of content with partners or subscribers.

Homepage Feed

You can also manually generate a feed of all your homepage articles. To do this, add /?format=rss to the end of your website URL.

Example: www.mywebsite.com/?format=rss

NOTE: For security reasons, this URL is protected to block malicious bots. That means it may not always work with certain tools or services.

Custom Homepage Feed for Email

If you want a feed specifically optimized for newsletters (with larger images and without the “Originally posted at” label), use the special feed URL:
